Johan was born into a horse-loving family, and naturally, his interest in equestrian sports was awakened early on. However, his passion for sports wasn't confined to the equestrian arena alone. Until the age of around 13, Johan showcased exceptional talent as a skier, ranking among the best in his age group across Norway. // "I was more interested in football and skiing back then, but at one point, I had to make a decision, and I chose riding." Ever since then, he has been representing the Norwegian showjumping team. Looking back on this decision, he confidently states that he will never regret choosing full commitment to the equestrian sport. Johan's journey so far, has been marked by grit and determination. He understands that there's no easy path to success and that each stride towards excellence requires perseverance and endless effort as he continues to strive to achieve his goals.

Victoria has been in the saddle since her early days. From a young age, she embraced riding, forging a deep bond with the horses. She is now managing Stall Gullik's foreign base in Belgium where she lives with her boyfriend Jordy. Beyond her technical prowess, Victoria exemplifies the values of sportsmanship and dedication. Her commitment to the welfare of her horses, combined with an unyielding work ethic, sets her apart as a true role model in the world of equestrian sports. She approaches every competition with a winning spirit, yet remains humble and gracious in both victory and defeat. Victoria's accomplishments in show jumping stand as a testament to her unwavering commitment to the sport. Her journey is a source of inspiration for aspiring equestrians worldwide, and her future in the saddle promises even greater achievements. // "The horses mean a lot. It is probably the love for the horses that started it all, and I am probably a little more emotional for both the horses and the sport."

Victoria selected for the Olympic Games

We are proud to announce that Victoria together with Mistral van de Vogelzang has been selected to represent Norway in the Olympic Games in Paris this summer!

The selection has been done by the Olympic Committee and the Norwegian Equestrian Federation, based on Victoria's strong performance with Mistral this season. We are looking forward to see them perform in beautiful surroundings at the Versailles palace, where the olympic equestrian competitions will take place 5.-6. of August.

Home-win in Drammen for Johan and 8yo Lolita
Home-win in Drammen for Johan and 8yo Lolita

At this time of the year it's time for the yearly international competitions on homeground in Drammen! Both Geir and Johan has had great success in their classes in the first week of the Spring Tour.

Johan and 7 year old Rose of Ballmore took the win with impressive 8.14 seconds margin to the 2nd place after a speedy round in the CSI2* 1.30m the first day! 🐎💨

Geir and Quatro also showed some muscles and speed when he finished on a 5th position in the CSI2* 1.40m!

Geir was also on the top of the podium after a perfect double clear with the 10 yo mare Oh La La van Overis 🥇

In Saturdays 2* Grand Prix, Johan and 8 yo Lolita ES impressed with a well deserved win after being the only double clear! This was the first time for Lolita competing at this height, and with great success! 🏆

Geir and Oh La La was unlucky to have a tiny pole down in the first fase - Still leaving them on an 8th position I n the Grand Prix!

Great success in the GCL debut for Johan

Johan had a great start to the GCL season in Miami this weekend. In the first team competition on Friday, competing individually, Johan and Mylord Myles showed off an amazing clear round and finished off 6th in the 5* 1.55m class.

The second round of the team competition, Equine America Harwich and Johan secured a strong clear round for the Scandinavian Vikings, with only one tiny time fault. That lead them to an 8th placing in the 5* 1.60m class. What a debut for Johan on the Vikings! 💪🏼
